RANKIN BAND GOES ACROSS

Brisbane's Geoff Rankin Band are now known as 6across. Some shuffling means that cellist Renata has taken on lead vocal duties, with Rankin concentrating on guitar and songwriting, and the band taking on a rockier overall direction. A new website is underway at

Acoustic folk-rock outfit 6across have finished recording and mixing their first band recording 'Pieces That Didn't Fit' and have made it available as a freely downloadable MP3. The band says “it's a really good song with a great message and we hope it will be a good introduction to us and our message”. Download it here.
NEW SINGLE DOWN FOR SIX ACROSS

Brisbane acoustic rock act 6across have completed recording their first single 'Pieces That Didn't Fit', a song about discovering that the answers to life are found alone in Jesus.
