6across has begun recording its much anticipated debut CD. Featuring 11 original songs, this first offering will showcase the group's fresh blend of acoustic guitar, cello, female lead vocals, bass & drums. The recording will continue through September with an expected October/November release date. The songs themselves are acoustic folk rock and are written by guitarist Geoff Rankin & drummer Anthony Edwards - the lyrics of which can be read here. Previously releasing three CDs between them, this will be the first one since joining forces at the end of 2002.

Album tracks 'Pieces That Didn't Fit' & 'Roll On Like A River (Live In Gatton)' are available to download at this location, although they are being rerecorded for the CD.
