11.02.06 - DAN DEPARTS, RECORDING RESUMES

Firstly, I can't believe we didn't write any news in 2005. I really can't. I know we were busy but were we THAT busy? Secondly, Dan's departure has nothing to do with us resuming recording. It's just the way it happened.

Recording in progress...
We are currently recording (ie Feb & Mar) our debut CD 'Touching The Sky'. As you may or may not know, we began recording a while ago but got waylaid. Anyway, we are now back on track and all recording should be finished in March. The CD, which is going to be a ripper, should be out around Easter/Christmas.

Dan sets sail...
Daniel Saunders (bass guitar) decided to hang up his bass at the end of 2005 due to other ministry commitments. Rumour has it he just couldn't hold his guitar for long any more since he turned vegetarian, but don't tell Anita (his wife, also a vegetarian - and don't mention this to anyone else who is a vegetarian as they may get offended, then not come to our shows, and not buy a CD when it comes out, thus missing out on the blessing that listening to our songs brings. Then again if they weren't going to come to our shows and buy a CD, you might as well say something). We had many good years with Dan, even after he joined the band, and wish him all the best with his solo career. We have no plans to replace Dan at this stage, though his place has currently been taken at rehearsals by a pedestal fan.
