Born:
1979
Favourite colour: Purple of any shade.
Favourite food: Mum's roast dinner and tandoori chicken with cashews. I also
love black forest chocolate, Ritter Sport chocolate and gummi bears in a big way!
Favourite song: Nena's 'Irgendwie, Irgenwo, Irgendwann' - in fact, any Nena, Gas Giants or Poppin' Wheelies songs. I'm also quite a fan of the metal musical
'Avantasia'.
Favourite movie: 'Run Lola Run' a.k.a 'Lola Rennt' - how awesome is this movie? I love the concept and it's very well done.
Favourite items of clothing: My German jeans, German boots, leather jacket and
all my band pants.
Hobbies: Collecting pigs. I fell in love with pigs on a visit to a piggery with my uncle when I was three. I just couldn't resist the little fellas and have been collecting them ever since.
Favourite sports: Gymnastics, tennis, cricket. I love
the Australian summer of cricket and tennis. I also
enjoy running, playing badminton and touch football.
Favourite TV shows: The Bill and House.
Favourite things to do in spare time: Meet up with friends and family, play & watch sport, listen to music, travel.
Best excuse used to miss, or be late to, band rehearsal: This one's easy - Geoff!
Favourite 6across song: 'I'm Not Flying Away' and 'Pieces That Didn't Fit'.
Funniest moment in band: It would have to be our crazy songs that we make up from time to time during rehearsals - thus far we have 'Space Buggy Boy Band', 'Liquid Soap' and 'We Love Our Cows'. Watch this space though - we are always having funny moments.
Most embarrassing moment on stage: After our set at Sonfest
'04 I thanked everyone for coming and said "We're 6acrock" - try 6across!
Worst performance: Singing 'Advance Australia
Fair' at Redcliffe. I think we should stick to our own
songs in the future!
Reason for being in 6across: I love music, I love singing, I love the songs we play, I love the people in the band and I love ministering to others through our music. One of my favourite things is meeting people and talking to them about Jesus/music/life.
Before I get too old: There are so many things I'd love to do - but God has an even better plan for me than anything I could dream up, so I'll leave it to him!
In 10 years: I'll be 10 years older, possibly ten years wiser and have a lot more stories to tell. |
