6across exists to share the Good News of the love of God
for everyone, and to bring hope to the hearts of as many
people as possible.
How we do this is determined by the context in which
we're presenting our songs. If we're playing in a church
service we share openly about the love & life we
experience through our personal relationships with Jesus
Christ, whereas in a secular environment we let our
songs do the talking from the stage and are open about
our faith off the stage. In doing so the Good News is
spread and seeds of faith are sown no matter what the
circumstances.
On a personal basis we recommend everyone get to know
Jesus Christ personally, first & foremost. We also
recommend regular prayer,
regular Bible reading, & regularly going to a church that
heartily proclaims the relevance of a personal
relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord & Saviour.
(Many churches seem to miss this altogether.)
We will continue to add to this sections but basically this section will be about who we are, what we
are sharing in our songs & through our performances,
and why we think you should know Jesus Christ as your
personal Lord & Saviour.
To accept Jesus as your personal Lord & Saviour,
say this to God right now...
Lord, thank you for your gift of eternal life.
With sorrow I acknowledge and confess that I am a sinner and cannot save myself.
I believe that Jesus Christ, your Son, died for my sins and rose to life so that I might be forgiven for ever and have life now and forever more.
I accept your free offer of salvation and ask you, Jesus, to be my personal Lord & Saviour and to come and live in me from this moment on through the enabling of the Holy Spirit.
Now that you have, I put my complete trust in you alone for every aspect of my daily life and for life everlasting. I turn away from every sin that has been in my life and make myself available on a daily basis for you to live & work through, according to your will.
Thank you. In Jesus name, Amen.
